The 7 Steps Of Doing The Homework In The Right Way For Ensuring Better Learning Outcomes

How great and easy life would have been without HOMEWORK?  Is what every student of the 21st century thinks of.

Homework is like a monster in every student's life. Homework has become the most disliked thing among every student. When any teacher in the classroom says 'Note down the Homework for the day' and you get to see all heads become low, faces become dull, expressions change, smiles are suppressed and irritation is high.

Isn't it right?

Are you one among this?

If yes, then do read the article till the end as it might help you in doing your homework in the right way.

The normal routine which is followed by students for finishing their homework is just copying without understanding the actual concept and writing without concentrating on the meaning of the statements. Hence one finds it as boring and extra unwanted work.

On the contrary, Homework can be a fun ride if done in the right way. Preparation for the exam too can become super easy if you follow proper methodical steps while doing homework on a daily basis. Many of the students consider homework as a waste of time, irrelevant, useless, not worthy etc. But do you know the fact that Homework is actually a step to prepare you for your success. It is a step to prepare you for the examination. It is a way to help you outshine other students. It is a way to understand the concept much better and retain it for a longer duration. And many more.

So let's begin this fun ride and know the coolest way to finish your homework.

  1. Read The Question

The very first step in solving your homework religiously is 'Reading the given question thoroughly twice or thrice' and trying to understand the exact meaning of the question. Break the question in parts and try to relate it to the concepts learnt in the classroom. After you are sure, what exactly is the meaning of the question, you will be able to solve it quicker and faster.

  1. Find The Hidden Secret

Every question which is asked has some or the other hidden secret, which on proper critical analysis helps us to identify it faster and solve the question. Sometimes it so happens that students fail to understand the exact meaning of the question and end up writing the wrong answer. So, one needs to know the multiple meanings of a particular word, such that you are capable of answering the toughest of the toughest questions. This especially happens in Languages and Mathematics. So keep your eyes open on finding the secret before attempting to answer.

  1. Refer The Textbook

After having understood the secret word or meaning of the question, it's time for us to open our subject specific textbook and read the content given in it. Critical analysis of the chapter is required to understand and answer the question in the right way. There are many students who do not even know to which chapter a particular question belongs to or even if one knows it then they might not know the concept on which the question is asked. It is very important to be familiar with each and every page of the textbook as it forms the base and foundation for our better understanding.

  1. Find The Answer

After you are done with referring and reading the chapter from the textbook, it's time now to find out the exact paragraph which talks about our question and then try to co-relate it to the question asked.

  1. Understand The Concept

Read the paragraph thrice which leads to your answer and try to understand the concept and the application of it. It makes understanding more clear thereby helping in longer retention. Make a concept map of the read paragraph thereby enabling you to write answers more easily by using the exact technical and scientific terms.

  1. Memorize The Answer

Using the concept map, try to memorize the answer or concepts. This step will help a student to do the regular studies while doing homework and not be in stress during the examination time to give their best. But generally it happens in a reverse way where most students find the homework as extra tension and want to get rid of it as early as possible either by copying from the digest or simply copy pasting the wrong answer for a particular question.

  1. Test Memory & Recall

After successfully memorizing the concept, move on to answer the homework question without referring to any reference book Or digest but just by merely recalling the answer from the learnt concept map.

Wasn't it super easy? If one implements this religiously in solving every day's homework, then there won't be any stress or truancy observed among the students during examinations.

So, what are you waiting for, start implementing and see the outcomes in your academic report. Follow the steps and understand the concept better with perfection and clarity.

All The Best!!!

HAVE A HAPPY HOMEWORK!!!
