How to be consistent in your performance for attaining your goals?

Every single person born on this earth wants to do great things in their life and stand apart among the crowd. Everyone has their own unique goals to attain. Uniqueness is something which makes us different from every other person.

We frame our goals, set targets, set time frames and so on…. We give our very best in the beginning, the best precision, best creativity, extra time… but as the days pass by we are unable to give the same as in the beginning and as more days pass by we forget to think about it… and finally we lose interest and WE GIVE UP..

WE give up our goals, our desire, our dreams, our creativity, our life, our love..

We give up… because we lack CONSISTENCY.

“Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.” — Tom Landry

'CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS'

As greatly said by Dwayne Johnson (The Rock),

“Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.”

Here are the seven tips to be consistent:

  1. Set achievable goals:

We generally fail to achieve our goals because we set unrealistic targets which makes it difficult for us to reach. When we set goals which fit in our square, as per our pattern it becomes very easy to conquer it in defined time. Avoid framing difficult goals just to be extraordinarily tall among the crowd.

  1. Avoid self doubts:

The biggest enemy which hinders the achievement of our goals is self doubt. Most of us doubt ourselves saying that is it my cup of tea? Will I ever be able to achieve it? Can I reach the goal I desire? All negative thoughts creep in making it more difficult to be consistent. Always motivate yourself by saying I will give my best to do it.

“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.” — Suzy Kassem

  1. Do it one by one:

Many of us frame beautiful goals and targets but fail to focus on them. This mostly happens because we try to focus on so many things at one go. We fail to Sort the goals by their simple objectives. Focus on one simple objective at one time which will better help at perfection too.

  1. Learn to say NO:

Consistency doesn't mean that day and night we work on attaining our goals. Absolutely not.

Sometimes you don't feel like working on your goals. We get distracted by many things around us or by certain people's behaviour.

Learn to say NO to distractions.Do it even when you don't feel like doing it. Don't let distractions come in the way of attaining your goals. Reach out to your goals with YES

“Wake up determined. Go to bed satisfied.” — Dwayne Johnson

  1. Control your emotions:

Emotions are the natural human enemy which surrounds us all the time. We basically get moved by emotions so easily that we forget our goals. We forget to give enough time for it. We forget to concentrate. We forget to put in enough interest.

Emotions are the number one enemy that spoils our dreams. Be tough at heart and control your emotions, come what may.

  1. Make it a Routine habit:

We fail to be consistent because we do things when we feel like doing it and not when you have to do it. Learn to make it a daily routine so that you know the pace of your work and avoid giving excuses to yourself. Frame your routine with special time alloted for your dream.

  1. Accept failures:

Failures are part of life and will come across at every juncture of our life. Don't give up due to failure. You can always give many attempts by learning from each failure. Remember that every failure you experience is taking you one step closer to your goal. Definitely it will mark the start of a beautiful journey to cross through and learn from your experience.

I believe these seven tips will help you in becoming more consistent and get you closer to your realistic goals and dreams.

Good luck for attaining your goal.
